On December 7, Los Angeles Unified School District along with city officials brought together the nation’s second largest school district and
the Los Angeles Public Library to issue library cards to
all 655,000 LAUSD students in the next three years.
Students will be able to check out up to 3 books
without fines or fees and will have access to all of the
library’s free online offerings.
